BLAXICAN SOUL (art exhibit) by Ronnie Dukes
Commemorating Black History Month
In commemoration of Black History Month, local artist Ronnie Dukes is featuring his News art exhibit at the downtown branch of the El Paso Public Library. The exhibit titled BLAXICAN SOUL will run througout the month fo February (1st-28th) in the main lobby. Featuring paintings illustrate the beauty and soul of the people of America who embody African American and Mexican heritage. The collection is reminiscent of classic Art-Deco poster art of the thirties and forties with a style that is unmistakingly of the new millennium.
