Black El Paso news is pleased to welcome Brandy Maltbia Woodley to the MOCHA Enterprises family of companies. Woodley, CEO/Owner of Soaring Dove Enterprises assumes the role as Executive Director of Operations for MOCHA Enterprises. Woodley has been consulting with Mocha’s various subsidiaries since 2006 and will oversee the operations of eight entities within the company.
From the CEO/Owner of MOCHA Enterprises--Moni Tucker:
“My pastor is my business mentor and he helped me to grasp the concepts of empowerment, being a secure leader and benefiting from the acceptance of combining the two. It wasn’t until then that I realized I needed help. With a growing company and a mind full of ideas, I knew Brandy would be the person to assist in the many positive changes we are currently undergoing. Trust and loyalty were the key factors in determining the facilitator for the progression and direction in which MOCHA Enterprises is evolving.”
Woodley has a Bachelor of Science in International Business, with a minor in French, and a Master of Arts in Human Resources Management. During her corporate career, working for Fortune 500 companies’ Headquarters Human Resources Departments, she worked closely with executives and counterparts in areas of Employee and Organizational Development, Employee Relations, Recruiting, Sales Compensation and more. She completed her certificate to be a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) through WorldatWork, since her primary HR responsibilities were in Compensation.
After leaving corporate America and becoming a military wife, she took her experience to the education field. She was an instructor at Central Texas College and Upper Iowa University. She taught human resources management, complex organizations, training and development, compensation, and other related business courses. She instructed graduating seniors with their “Senior Projects,” or thesis papers, and presentations.
Being a military spouse, she found her niche in being an entrepreneur. This would allow her to execute business across the nation and seas. She has always had a heart to help others and can accomplish this through Soaring Dove Enterprises.
“We have some amazing projects in the works and I believe El Pasoans will appreciate and enjoy the variety of things coming their way,” said Woodley. SDE will be assisting Mocha Enterprises with various ad hoc projects and future ventures. Expect more and great things to come from Mocha Enterprises and its subsidiaries.
