Local Attorney Donald L. Williams was elated about and sincerely thankful for the reception held in his honor at UTEP. Mr. Williams' philanthropic nature was evident in the presentation of a $10,000 gift donated to the Donald L. Williams Endowed Student Enhancement Fund for the Department of African-American Studies in the College of Liberal Arts. Funds distributed from the endowment will be used to support students engaged in the African American Studies program. Students need not actually major or minor in African-American Studies to receive support. Click here to read about Mr. Donald L. Williams.
