What's the most difficult part about running your own business
Not knowing how our rapidly changing economy is going to affect my small business. While working within the military community, I have experienced a few small changes that has significantly effected my client base. One was when they changed the uniform headgear the female couldn't wear many of the hair styles they desired; two, when the troops began to deploy to Iraq sometimes their families leave the city; three, when families simply are having a change of duty station and they must leave the city or state.
What's The Most Rewarding
Having the freedom to make decisions that affect my business in a positive way.
If you had to do it all over again, what one thing would you do differently if any?
Nothing
What words of encouragement/advice would you give others desiring to go into business for themselves?
Do your research, on what it will take to establish a small business and what it will take to stay in business.

Never let anyone underestimate what you can do…ever! I have always been the kind of person who has taken all of my challenges head on just to see what the outcome would be. Challenges are my middle name--probably soon will be my first name because I find my strength through adversity.
I’m a strong woman, that’s how I’m built. Furthermore, it’s hard to become discouraged by life’s challenges when you can see how bright your future is. But, never the less have I been through any circumstance and not had someone there to pull me up. Previously equipped with two degrees in hand, an associates degree in business administration, and a bachelors degree in business management I was surely not going to let an MBA ( masters in business administration) push me back from my divine destiny. I graduated from Webster University here at Fort Bliss May 2007 and it was a joyous occasion and something close to being the most awesome day of my life. During the course of the program I’ve met my challenges time and time again, and I say my challenges because sometimes there are some things that I have trouble understanding, since the Webster University campus here in EL Paso is such a tight knit college community setting; either my fellow colleagues were pulling me up or it was the staff pulling me through. I needed the support and that is what it’s all about helping each other. Thanks a million for your support, I appreciate you all. Love Charlotte.
