What's the most difficult part about running your own business
  • Managing and balancing worktime with small children. A business challenge is marketing enough to get clients and projects but not too much where I would be overwhelmed, since I am the only employee.

What's The Most Rewarding
  • The most rewarding factors are utilizing my talents and skills, and being able to help people reach a goal.

If you had to do it all over again, what one thing would you do differently if any?
  • I would have done more research about types of clientele to focus on in various industries and demographics. I may have waited to have more start-up money to have more resources for my office.

What words of encouragement/advice would you give others desiring to go into business for themselves?
  • I would tell others to never, ever give up on your aspirations. It may be tough to get started and keep going the initial years, but if you have a passion to do something-do it. If you are not sure what to go into, search yourself (talents, skills, and desires) and for market niches.
